RIEGER overflow valves ÜS open at the set response pressure and thus prevent undesirable overpressure in pipelines. They are available with welding ends as well as with milk pipe fittings or clamp connectors.
One possible application is the protection of forced feed pumps (e.g. peristaltic pumps).
The ÜS overflow valve is suitable for all liquid media.
Overflow valves are not safety valves.
We recommend the TÜV-certified safety valve type SH for this purpose.
