RIEGER ÜS relief valves open at the set response pressure, thereby preventing unwanted overpressures in piping systems. They are available with welded ends as well as with dairy pipe fittings or clamp connections.
One possible application is to protect positive displacement pumps (e.g., peristaltic pumps).
The ÜS overflow valve is suitable for all liquid media.
Overflow valves are not safety valves.
We recommend the TÜV-approved safety valve type SHF for this purpose.
