Foundry mechanic (m/f/d)

Foundry mechanics specializing in hand moulding/machine mould casting often work in medium-sized and large foundries.
At RIEGER, they are employed in the melting store, on moulding machines, in the core shop and in the hand mould casting department.

Foundry mechanics are trained at the two learning locations of the dual training system: the training company RIEGER and the vocational school in Stuttgart.
The duration of training can be shortened under certain conditions.

  • Production of casting molds in green sand and casting of the molds produced
  • Operating, monitoring and maintaining foundry production systems
  • Melting and alloying the casting metals and monitoring the temperature

  • Application of control and regulation technology
