Your area of responsibility:

• Creating molds by hand using bentonite-bonded sand.
• Review orders and check them for completeness and plausibility. Determine the production sequence. Ensure the availability of core tools and models; procure them if necessary.
• Cast the models (upper and lower sections). Define and install the gating systems. Apply the risers. Fill the mold with molding sand and compact it. Remove the model and finish the surface of the molds.
• Fabricate and insert cores; position core supports; install mold and core vents. Apply sealing compound. Assemble the mold sections (lower and upper halves). Clamp and/or weigh down the mold (take buoyancy into account).

Your Profile:

• Successfully completed vocational training, preferably in foundry work or another technical field.
• Understanding of production processes.
• A sense of responsibility for workplace safety, quality, and the careful use of work equipment.
• Commitment and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Proficiency in spoken and written German.
• Willingness to work in a multi-shift system.
• Resilience and a willingness to work extra hours.
• Good manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Well-developed hand-eye coordination.
