Hygienic Shut Off Valves LCV

RIEGER LCV Single seat valves are found in the plants of food industries. They combine the advantages of the dead leg free valve body with the concept of the maintenancefree welded pneumatic actuator. The spring-loaded actuator can be used as spring-closing as well as spring opening by easy turning.

Right angle and change-over valves base on the same bodies. The can be combined on the many ways and so diminish the spare part costs. In daily use, the LCV valves grant high flexibility inside the system and the perfect application for your liquid products.

This control top has been developed between AWH and Rieger in collaboration with Bürkert. It serves as a custom-fit solution for our in-house hygienic and aseptic process valves to achieve an even more efficient and precise application.

FlowStar is available in the models 24 V DC, AS-I bus, IO-Link (Port Class A) or Ethernet IP.
All models  are available as the following alternatives::

  • without solenoid valve, 3 internal proximity switches + 1 outlet for external proximity switch
  • 1 solenoid valve, 3 internal proximity switches + 1 outlet for external proximity switch
  • 2 solenoid valves, 3 internal proximity switches + 1 outlet for external proximity switch


Mounting kit integrated in Control Top – no separate mounting kit necessary. Exception for LCV valves, ESV valves.

All Valves are available in special alloys, such as Hastelloy® C-22, 1.4539/904L, 1.4529, AL-6XN® and others.
