Hygienic Change-Over Valves ESV

RIEGER ESV Single Seat Valves are used, when a maximum level of productivity, safety and quality is requested. They are found in production plants of the dairy industry and the food industry, the pharmaceutical and the chemical industry and biotechnology.

The advanced valve concept, proven a thousand times in daily use guarantees high flexibility within the individual series.

Thanks to the modular system, the switch from hygienic- to aseptic-design, from "air-opening" to "air-closing" is possible without any problems. The construction measures can also be adapted to the conditions on site.

This control top has been developed between AWH and Rieger in collaboration with Bürkert. It serves as a custom-fit solution for our in-house hygienic and aseptic process valves to achieve an even more efficient and precise application.

FlowStar is available in the models 24 V DC, AS-I bus, IO-Link (Port Class A) or Ethernet IP.
All models  are available as the following alternatives::

  • without solenoid valve, 3 internal proximity switches + 1 outlet for external proximity switch
  • 1 solenoid valve, 3 internal proximity switches + 1 outlet for external proximity switch
  • 2 solenoid valves, 3 internal proximity switches + 1 outlet for external proximity switch


Mounting kit integrated in Control Top – no separate mounting kit necessary. Exception for LCV valves, ESV valves.

All Valves are available in special alloys, such as Hastelloy® C-22, 1.4539/904L, 1.4529, AL-6XN® and others.
