System Engineering

Rieger manufactures not only valves, but also complex valve systems and units. This is done in close collaboration with renowned OEMs and plant manufacturers or directly with end customers. These aseptic or hygienic systems are used in plants of the brewery and beverage industry, in dairies and in the food and pharmaceutical industry worldwide.

VALVE MANIFOLD

Upon request, we combine our valves to complete manifold/valve clusters according to customers' specifications. The execution is carried out in close cooperation and continuous consultation with the engineering department of the customer. We offer support from the P&ID over 3D-design until on-site installation and after sales service.

CIP SYSTEM

A CIP system usually consists of the following modules:
  • made of 316L
  • standing on adjustable feet
  • conical Tank lower and top cover
  • in the water tank outlet is centrally mounted on the lower cover
  • in caustic, acid and/or disinfection tank the outlet is mounted in the tank wall. Thus, the tanks have a sedimentation so that the media will run with the least possible pollution load back into the cleaning circuit
  • integrated cleaning nozzles for cleaning the tanks, e.g. CIP in CIP are possible

centrifugal pumps

  • product contact parts made of 316L including motor protective covers made of stainless steel
  • standing on adjustable feet
  • universal joints for connection to the system
  • controllable via frequency converter in order to ensure optimal cleaning results for different cleaning circles
  • controlled by pressure or flow meter

diaphragm pumps

  • with PVDF or PVC dosing head
  • including black PE carrier system including PE suction lances
  • with 2 stage level indication
  • overflow valve with variable adjustment
  • pressure maintaining valve with variable setting
  • with bus communication
  • Material 1.4404/316 L
  • Valves that are used to shut-off and/or redirect the cleaning fluids, are made by Rieger and AWH (both members of the NEUMO Ehrenberg Group)
  • Feedback in the form of proximity sensors (Rieger/AWH)
  • Control valves at the energy side of renowned manufacturers
  • Control valves are controlled 4-20 mA
  • All valves are installed for easy maintenance
  • Material 316 L
  • Heat exchangers from renowned manufacturers
  • specially designed for the application requirements

connectors:

  • power side with flanges
  • product side with male ends

  • sealing material EPDM (or other)
  • pressure sensor for level in the tank and piping
  • liquid level switches
  • temperature sensors with protection cover
  • conductivity meassurement
  • opacimeter

ASEPTIC PIGGING STATION

Now also available with TA-Luft (Clean Air Act - enviromental protection Certificate)

Aseptic Pigging station

Modern recovery systems are used for fast, easy and reliable emptying of pipelines. They are also used for the separation of different batches or products within an aseptic production process.

Why aseptic pigging technology?

  • maximum product safety - maximum product use
  • reduced environmental impact and disposal costs
  • reduced cleaning time and costs
  • minimized water consumption
  • minimized chemicals consumption
  • used for liquid and pasty products
  • 100-% pig cleaning for CIP and SIP
  • aseptic pging holder

The investment pays for itself on average after seven months.

Now also available with TA-Luft (Clean Air Act - enviromental protection Certificate) - for more details CLICK

The straight-way valves D4 (manual version) and D71 (pneumatic version) in hygienic and aseptic design can also be found in our catalogue.

The development of the RIEGER double sealing valve DD to piggable variant N4 allows users great savings in resources. The cost savings of product, water, cleaning agents, environmental pollution recoup the investment within a very short time .

  • one-piece solid valve housing
  • no welding distortion in the product space
  • only 3 seals + CIP valve
  • additional flushing valve optional
  • secure CIP/SIP cleaning
  • maximum product benefits
  • minimization of cleaning water consumption
  • minimizing chemical consumption
  • low environmental impact and waste costs
  • valve has utility model protection
  • available in 3-A variant
