Rieger interviewed by Deutsche Molkerei Zeitung, a German Dairy Journal
What makes Rieger unique as a well-known provider of solutions in the sector of fluid media? Exactly this question has offered an opportunity for Rieger´s Enrico Köninger (Sales Director – Strategic Sales) and Stefan Behnke (Project Management and Project Engineering) to explain in an interview with the Deutsche Molkerei Zeitung what makes our products and services so distinguished for our valued customers.
The conversation was opened by explaining the benefits while handling sensible media like milk, due to our PTFE Bellow Technology which is applied, amongst others, in our Aseptic Sampling Valves “BioCheck”.
The next topic was Rieger´s ability to respond to any customer needs like we did with developing our Full Stroke Valves which provide significant benefits as the spindle can be fully retracted out of the valve body. This offers the opportunity to process even chunky products like tomatoes and fruits or to adjust the valves for cheese curd preparation. Enrico Köninger has also mentioned our availability to offer complete product packages by using the know-how of our sister companies within the NEUMO Ehrenberg Group.
Another interesting conversation point was the Rieger Service in form of maintenance which was implemented by our new Service Team in the year 2019. Further, Stefan Behnke explained by means of an application example, how our valves can be easily converted within only 10 minutes of work from hygienic to aseptic version and reversed, thanks to our modular construction systems.
Our experts also described how Rieger´s solutions can help our customers to reduce time and costs during the cleaning process. For example, our pigging station guarantees 100 % reduction of product loss and meets the highest safety demands at the same time. Or our latest innovations like the SpeedPush-Actuator and our Foam Cleaning Systems which are constructed to reduce the consumption of cleaning liquids immensely.
Concluding, Enrico Köninger pointed to the development of our own app which is expected to set new standards in terms of information supply of the future.
